Japon, l'archipel de la maison

Last weekend we visited an exposition, called "Japon, l'archipel de la maison", about Japanese architecture at the designmuseum in Ghent. In this blogpost we like to give you a short preview of what you can expect of this exposition. Japanse houses captivated and intrigued many people for some time, but it also raises questions about habitability. The exposition in Ghent offers a historical perspective and a clear context to understand the development of this living room. The exposition is divided in three main chapters: "Yesterday's homes", "Today homes" and "Tokyo Homes".

You can visit the exposition until the 19th of june 2016 in the designmuseum Ghent.
